The intended website would be similar to any other E-shopping / retail websites, like Amazon, ebay etc. It would have the standard search and browse capabilities of any other E-commerce site, along with some chatrooms and blogs. The SRS has not been made yet, we do have a vague idea as to how we want it to look though. In look and feel it should be similar to Amazon, ebay etc. Data-modeling would be required after the SRS has been made. There might be some interfaces we would have to consider, like a payment gateway, cash back mechanisms etc. The Non-functional requirements (performance / scalability / capacity) would be an issue. A study of the architecture and the data-model would be required for ensuring that. To sum it all up, it would be a very standard E-commerce website.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
## Platform
The application should be built in ASP Dot Net technology and would be talking to a SQL server database. Machine specifications are still not known, they would be output of the scalability / capacity analysis of the application.
