I run a site for poker players. I'd like to have it redesigned to look more like [url removed, login to view], or imdb.com... Something simple and univeral, that loads fast. I need a new logo as well... something memorable.
I'd like the website to have the following which it doesn't currently have:
link indexing script, which will allow visitors to fill out a form to add their own site to any number of possible categories. They would also be asked to list where on their site a reciprocal link is present. Their site would not be added to the index until approved by an administrator. Also I'd like the script to allow visitors to my site to rank each link (1 vote per visitor per link), and have the highest ranked links listed at the top of each category.
ad rotation script - an administrator would be able to input any number of ads, each with a number of impressions that it is supposed to be shown before it is removed from rotation. Ads should be shown on the top right side of each page, and down the right side (except for the home page, which will only show 1 banner ad at the top right). Ideally, the administrator could also give it a limit of how many times the ad can be shown each month. That way if a customer wants to purchase 10,000 impressions, but at no more than 1,000 per month, it could be done without having to manually remove the ad from rotation after 1,000 impressions. Also, I'd like if the administrator could decide on what pages each ad would be shown (home page, vs every other page, as I'll be charging more for ads that show on my home page). I'd also like it if there was a way for each ad buyer to login and receive statistics on how their ad is doing, such as how many times it's been shown, and how many times visitors have clicked on each ad. These same statistics should be available to the administrator as well.
newsletter script - simple script that has a small spot on the front page where visitors are asked if they would like to subscribe to our newsletter, and if so, to enter their email. Emails would need to be stored in a database file of some sort.
I appreciate any samples of your work that you can show me. Also, I'm not sure how much this project should run me, so if 100-500 is unreasonable, feel free to bid higher, and I'll consider all bids.
