Deep understanding of Web and API architecture Conversant in common Internet technologies and protocols (HTTP, SSL, OAuth, REST, JSON, XML, etc), understanding the pros and cons of each Experience in coding, use of APIs/web services and associated tools. Strong understanding of SaaS, multi-tenant solutions as compared to on-premise software. Familiarity with NGINX, Varnish a plus   Goals & ResponsibilitiesPerform technical demos and presentations for customers, partners, and prospects as the subject matter expert. Be the technical expert on 3scale’s product offerings during all phases of the sales process. Accompany customers through the initial setup phase of their API Management solution delivered by 3scale. Understand customer pain points and actively engage them for technical needs. Communicate effectively with a diverse customer audience, including C-level executives and technical staff. Deliver reactive technical support Create reusable demo tools to improve the ability to communicate 3scale’s value at a technical level. Work closely with the support and engineering teams in forecasting and allocating resources for new prospects requests & requirements. Provide feedback and business intelligence to sales, support and product engineering teams  Skills & AbilitiesStrong learner and capable of coming up to speed quickly on technologies. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple prospect calls, RFP/RFI’s, SOW’s, meetings, and any follow up items, ensuring a timely and professional response. Problem solving skills: ability to assess a problem and determine an effective course of action, engage relevant prospect/customer teams to design solutions using 3scale.
