Hello,
for extending our SaaS Product by custom subdomain / domain and redirect-path features i am looking for an experienced sys-admin / developer who can develop nginx scripts and discuss with backend dev how backend scripts can be connected.
The purpose is that for a landing page builder, every user can define his own subdomains or domains for every page he creates, as well as to define a default subdomain used for all pages, set up specific subdomains for specific pages. And finally to create redirect paths and assign them to pages.
before every URL looks like this.
[login to view URL]
after it would look like this
[login to view URL] and it will open this url [login to view URL]
for the subdomain [login to view URL] only pages inside client account should be possible to reach. others must be blocked.
So the requirements are:
1. Setup redirect pathes as set in backend for each app with subdomain / redirect path settings. So that subdomains / pathes will be forwarded to that app.
2. Setup restriction for URL Forwarding for subdomains, so that only the apps can be reached which are within same account as the subdomain. All other apps are disallowed, and should have a 404 error
I think this can be done with nginx scripting.
Our stack is LAMP on Rootserver and Plesk.
