I do a bit of sports trading as a hobby, mainly on the horse racing markets. I maintain a database which I update daily that currently contains 400k+ records. Each morning I download a list of horses due to race that day and manually check them against the database. This is quite time-consuming.
What I require is some mechanism where the daily list of runners is queried against the database and a report generated as a separate file showing the headings of the database file. There can be multiple returns for a horse or none if the horse hasn't run previously.
Ideally, if not too complicated, it would be nice to have the database headings as selectable items in the query mechanism so that headings may be included or omitted as required. If it's not practical to include all headings I can reduce them to those that I feel are necessary.
