Fix Squid Proxy Server Install

I have a hosted dedicated server. I installed Squid as a proxy server so I could use it for anonymity, but right now, every time I try to surf to a web page, the proxy server wants to send me to the main page for the ip address I use as a proxy. (example:[url removed, login to view])
I have set up a couple of users so that only we can use the proxy server, so I would like to have these usernames and passwords checked. I will also have a few sites (1 flash based video, another normal text/images) that must work through the server. I have tried to use some public anonymous proxy servers and my necessary sites were not always visible.

we are already using squid with authentication. I have quistion related exact requirement. 1. Do you required authentication ? 2. Do you want to access specific sites?
