Help with SNMP4j Project - Java

I need help with a current project that I am working on. I am using the SNMP4J library in Java to poll SNMP from some devices on my local network. The issue I am running into is when I poll the OID with snmpwalk it will return the proper value, but when I attempt a poll at the same OID with my SNMP4J project it returns "No such Instance" or "null". I am using the correct SNMP Version. Just need a quick hand and someone to point me in the right direction is all.
Work will be done remote via teamviewer or another remote-assistance program.
