I am looking to develop a website/company that will bring together independent restaurants and food distributors. Independent restaurants will join and have a portal where they can create/upload their order. These orders will be available for Vendors that are members of the site to view and bid on. Vendors chose orders they want to earn and submit their best bid/offer. The restaurant is notified of all bids and chooses the bid/offer that is most attractive to them. See attachment for a general diagram of the concept. More details/specifications are available and will be provided once you are chosen for the job.
I would like to clarify the project as there seems to be some confusion among some. This is a business to business web service and is a similar concept to the Freelancer website except for restaurants. The idea is to bring restaurants together with suppliers. Restaurants will submit their orders on the website (just as I have submitted this project) and then Suppliers will have the opportunity to bid on the order (just as you freelancers have bid on my project). The Restaurant chooses it's best bid/offer and the Supplier fulfills the order. This is the general premise for the Web Service once this is established there will be more features and functions added.
