xls2ppt report generator

Hi, I would like to automate a very manual labor process. I am running an experiment with many images and would like to generate a ppt image album. An xls holds a large table with cells pointing by hyperlink to image files. I can filter using standard xls the lines (images) I want. Then I would like a macro to:

open a ppt (might already exist)

add a new slide at the end

go through all images in the table (after filter) and:

Open the image

Crop center ROI (center X, center Y, size x size y) [option: crop to circle]

paste into the slide at a specific location

resize to sX, sY

Option: add image label from the text of specific cell in table (same line as image, e.g. date)

The slide should contain a matrix of these images

attached are snapshots of what I have as an xls and ppt I have done manually.
