Transfer old data from Excel into new SQL Server database

This is a data cleaning and transfer project. The task is to transfer data from an Excel workbook into a SQL-Server database. The Excel workbook contains data from several tables of an old Customer database. Using a computer program, we have processed this old data and put them into columns which resemble the columns in the new SQL-Server database. The data have also been half-cleaned using the program.
Your job is to do the final clean up of the source data and to upload this data into SQL-Server tables. If the data are not properly formatted and fully cleaned the upload will fail. This is why you must upload yourself into SQL-Server (we will provide access to you via Internet). You must not remove any data, you must maximise the data transferred from the old system into the new.
The Excel workbook has 4 main worksheets: Customers, Purchase Contracts, Purchase Items and Payments. The Customer worksheet has already been completed. Your job are the remaining three worksheets. The workbook has 300 Purchase Contracts, about 500 Purchase Items and about 5,000 Payments.
We have about 25 such data sets, but you are bidding here only for the first one.
You will have up to 7 days to process this first set and about 3 days for each of the following data sets. A rough estimate of the time required is 20 hours per data set.

This is a basic level work, which requires no special Excel skills, but it requires you to be organised, persistent and very, very tidy.
