Bar code inventory software for home use: (Cross platform to raspberry pi would be great)\r\n\r\nPlatform = Application to run on Raspberry pi and run on windows vista + to windows 8.1(android too?). (Maybe java? but c#/c++ is preferred)\r\n\r\nVary basic software... Cross platform and simplicity is key. \r\n\r\nGoal is to:\r\n\r\nMain Function 1: Update location of item or display of location item if no location has been entered. Maybe a timing function would help.: \r\n1:Scan item bar code(enter) \r\n2:Scan item location bar code (enter)\r\n3:Save information witch include\'s photo that has been added to database from Function 2.\r\n\r\nFunction 2: (ADD... Selected by bar code activated function)\r\n1:Scan item bar code(enter)\r\n2:) Take Photo of item witch is activated by a bar code scan event. \r\n3:) Scan Location(enter)\r\n4:) Store info in database \r\n\r\nAll with out user interaction other then the bar code scanner. Special bar code scan can be used to activate functions/modes in software.\r\n\r\nThe software MUST minimize user interactions with keyboard/mouse. All action should be done by the bar code scanner to scan and activate functions quickly. This is the point of this application. \r\n\r\nI\'m a software programer myself.
