Automating UI for acquiring data from a platform

We need to develop a software that will perform automated action for acquiring data from an old platform that offer a web interface througt a virtual remote application. Because we don't have directly access to database, we need to automate and simulate manual operations with mouse and keyboard.
The software will do:
- acquiring source data keywords to search from a txt file
- automate login to platform
- go to search section in the platform
- put keyword in a text box and press find button
- acquiring screenshot to find results
- write results in a txt file
During this process must be developed the control function to find error or analizing results.
