Concurrent programming in c

We need someone to aid us in writing concurrent code in c. It is important to have a good knowledge of threads, forks, processes on a *NIX enviornments, aswell as to know how to compile the programs.
Knowing about schedulers is a plus so that the algorithms written can work on different types of them.
