DELL xps730 with updated memory.
I have purchased new DDR3 memory 4GB x 3 and replaced the existing 1GB x 4. It works, but there are problems. Sometimes the PC hangs. After shutdown the PC speaker beeps. Using the original memory everything seems ok.
I think timing of the memory or pc board in the PC needs to be amended. I would like someone to assist me to change the BIOS settings so that the PC will work well with the new memory.
I am looking for someone that is familiar with tweaking the BIOS settings, especially the timing.
We can do this work using FaceTime or Skype so you can see my desktop while I restart it.
