This project requires an experienced android mobile programmer. Someone good in java/c# on android platform, IOS and windows. At first the concentration will be on the Android and later it goes to the other platforms. The person working on this will be used to having someone look over the codes from time to time with questions. Students are very welcomed but you must have done this kind of work before and must have a portfolio too. Take a look at google play for Uber and Easy Taxi if you want to get an idea.
This is a simple straight to the point application. The application will be downloaded from a website to be designed. The QR code will be available for scanning by all. The QR code takes you to the website to download application. The application will be two sided one for the customer/client and the control panel for the administration.
The application will enable the client to seek the closest cab to his/her location and the cheapest rate for a trip in the area from point A to B will be shown. You will have option to book trips in advance. Get flat rate for some locations and destinations. The phone will also be used as the metering system because 'google' makes that [login to view URL] most important part of this application is integrating the map from google. I strictly want this open so that the administration can change the map based on the location they are. I don't want to restrict it.
