We are looking for an runable application that can decode a captcha BMP image, like those found on the major concert ticket websites. The application will have to reliably (at least 90% accuracy) decipher the captcha image in under 1.5 seconds and convert it into text.
This code would ultimately need to be integrated with pre-existing perl software, but the actual integration can be handled in house. Because of this perl is preferable, but nearly any working code application can be integrated.
After speaking with our inhouse programmer, they asked me to correct some errors I made in the ad. Here is the correct information
We are looking for a command line application (with source) that can decode a captcha JPG image, like those found on the major concert ticket websites.
C/C++ is ultimately preferable, but perl is acceptable (Sorry I got it backwards when I first posted the ad)
