Customization of two search modules in Joomla

The project situation is as follows:
Car company website built in Joomla that has a component to list their used cars.
The component gets information from a feed.
There are 2 existing modules to display cars with, one for search and one per parameter.
Customizations:
-The search module needs to be altered so it filters for certain kind of cars. Some cars are on sale and therefore have a tag/parameter in a certain field in the database. All the search needs to do is filter them out.
-The other module also needs to display only the cars according to that parameter.
-Need on separate page that displays all the cars with that parameter.
Only some PHP coding needed to fix it. Should be very quick job for the right person.
