THE BRAND
Roche Foucault is a new brand that focuses on contemporary formal menswear with a mass market orientation. It seeks to deliver a wide variety of high quality products to senior students and young professionals at an affordable price. It is the intention of the brand not only to sell products to its customers, but rather a lifestyle that resonates with style, nobleness and sophistication.
THE PRODUCTS
Roche Foucault decided to first specialize in the production of dress shirts and ties. More specifically, the shirts it will manufacture will be extremely slim (modern fit), with extreme cutaway collars and highly fashionable prints and colors. As for the ties, they will be made of textured materials and there will be a variety of them, ranging from plain colors to modern prints.
THE NEED FOR A DESIGNER
The current managers of the brand are looking for a designer to substantiate their vision. The designer’s first duty will be to put on paper the design of the shirt. It will have to produce all the typical and necessary design sheets (more details will be given during further discussions) and collaborate tightly with the managers to ensure quality standards. Although the completion of fashion studies is an asset, it is not a requirement
THE COMPENSATION
Compensation shall be discussed with potential designers although it is possible at this time to state that the designer will be paid for the project (and not on an hourly basis). Additionally, it will be possible to distribute shares to the designer further down the road.
