Project Requirements
Create professional, modern app icons that all have a similar look and feel. The list of app icons starts on page 3 of the attached PDF document and links have been provided to depict the general idea we are thinking for that icon. Please note this does not mean you should copy the icon exactly as it appears in the link but instead should just use that as a guide.
• All app icons should look similar in colors, shades and style to the app icons that are drawn on the blackboard in this video: [login to view URL]
o Please use the app icons that appear in this video to provide direction as to what the general concept is for all of the apps. They should all look similar, as if draw on a blackboard in the same manner as the app icons drawn on the blackboard in this video. The colors, format, elements, etc. should all follow a similar pattern and look/feel/format for all of the icons in this project.
• Background should look similar to the blackboard background in the video (this link is to a still image): [login to view URL]
• Please note that some icons may require modifications or slight changes to the background in-order to make them look best. (This image should not automatically be used for the background of all the icons.)
The project will be completed in four stages:
Stage 1) App Icons 1-10
Stage 2) App Icons 11-25
Stage 3) App Icons 26-40
Stage 4) App Icons 41-61
For each stage, Freelancer will provide draft mockups for all app icons in that stage. We will then provide feedback to the freelancer who will then modify the mockups based on our feedback. We will then review the revisions and either provide additional feedback if more modifications are required or approve the app icon.
All icons to be delivered as an EPS file as well as non-interlaced PNG files as per the specifications below. The standard bit depth for icons and images is 24 bits—that is, 8 bits each for red, green, and blue—plus an 8-bit alpha channel.
Each app icon should be square (length and width dimensions are equal), non-transparent background and have 90° corners.
Each icon should be detailed so they look modern and high-end at the largest dimensions while still being able to be viewed clearly at smallest dimensions.
The formats provided that are optimized for the following formats
1) Each icon should be provided in each of the five dimensions below.
a. Non-interlaced PNG, No Layers, No transparency, 24 bits—that is, 8 bits each for red, green, and blue—plus an 8-bit alpha channel.
i. 48x48 px
ii. 120x120 px
iii. 180x180 px
iv. 280x280 px
v. 512x512 px
vi. 1024x1024 px
b. EPS file for each icon
c. Source files for all icons
Milestones
1 = 10% = Delivery of First draft for Stage 1
2 = 15% = Delivery of Final files for stage 1
3 = 10% = Delivery of first draft for stage 2
4 = 15% = Delivery of final files for stage 2
5 = 10% = Delivery of first draft for stage 3
6 = 15% = Delivery of final files for stage 3
7 = 10% = Delivery of first draft for stage 4
8 = 15% = Delivery of final files for stage 4
*Please do not bid on this project unless you are have a lot of experience designing App Icons and are confident that you can successfully complete this project. We reserve the right to terminate this project immediately if the freelancer is unable or unwilling to provide acceptable designs, incorporate our feedback or if the freelancer is unable to or unwilling to complete a milestone.
Our company will own all app icons, graphics, source code, compiled code, images, artwork, custom fonts, sketches, mock-ups and files and intellectual property that are created and/or used to complete this project.
