I need to illustrate my business model which is as under -

Operating Model:

1. Our salesmen will tie up with existing village based shopkeepers to sell products to customers through our catalogs for a margin

2. With the help of India Post, every month, we will mail to them a new catalog of products (“Ruvein Catalog”) comprising of a wide variety of electronics, apparel, home and kitchen goods each with prices and descriptions printed clearly and against item codes

3. The shopkeepers are acquainted with the ordering instructions will show the catalog to customers

4. The customers will browse through the catalog, understand products and prices and if they like to buy, will ask the shopkeeper to purchase on their behalf

5. The shopkeeper will make payment, book the orders via phone and we will dispatch the goods to him with the help of India Post

7. The shopkeeper will make payment at the Post Office for booking the orders

6. The postman will deliver the goods to the shopkeeper and gives them to the customer who will pay them

Impact: Case- Villager, Shyam Bodke wants to buy a phone

a. Shyam can now go to the familiar shopkeeper in his village, read and understand the wide variety of the phones in the catalog, know the printed price, discuss with the shopkeeper and place an order. He will receive the phone of his choice in 3-4 days’ time from the shopkeeper/ postman
