My name is Chan Wing Lam, Grace. I achieved my first bachelor’s degree at the Hong Kong Baptist University of Business Administration. After working for few years, I decided to go study abroad. Motivated by my passionate in planting design and garden design, I decided to apply for the Master of Landscape Architecture...My name is Chan Wing Lam, Grace. I achieved my first bachelor’s degree at the Hong Kong Baptist University of Business Administration. After working for few years, I decided to go study abroad. Motivated by my passionate in planting design and garden design, I decided to apply for the Master of Landscape Architecture at the university of Gloucestershire which is renowned for its practical course details and I really like landscape design after I started enrolling in the course. I graduated from the University of Gloucestershire for my Master of Landscape Architecture this year. The course is practical and allow me to have the experience of doing site visit, data collection, data analysis, hand draw masterplan, digital masterplan, planting specification list and technical drawings as tender documents. To enrich my knowledge in data collection and analysis, I enrolled to the module of GIS and carried out a research of site suitability of Solar park at Cheltenham, Grid SO60 by using QGIS. Apart from the digital drawing, I have the experience of preparing Landscape Visual and Impact Assessment and a details study of Environmental Impact Assessment which are related to environmental aspect as well. I do keep improving my digital skills by learning different software by myself and joined external courses. I am familiar with using Autocad, Photoshop, Sketchup and I could also handle the skills of using BIM Revit and 3D Max.
