I need a logo for my company . It will be on trucks , tool boxes , shirts , website, stickers , hard hats etc so I would like vector that is able to be cut .

Legal Company name : Rampage Fabrication & Welding LLC

Our work specializes in Rigging, Welding,Fabrication, Erecting. Our work is industrial. I would like “INDUSTRIAL” large somewhere .

Style: Bold Industrial Rugged and Dynamic

Color: Black white grey

Graphic elements I like in order of importance: welding helmet with aggressive jaw and teeth (like venom comic) , black and white rising sun in background , large chains , diamond plate steel,sparks/fire/smoke, lattice crane boom, TIG torch , large gear.

You change the color a bit, add a different detail, and that's how they fool people... and talk about "frustrated" ones.

Dear CH, you will come across lot of #NaySayers on this platform, few of them has lot of time in their hand, if they don't have expertise in certain section, they will start commenting on others #DesignWork, just #Ignore them and select what you like the best among the submission. Hawever, before finalizing and awarding, ask the designer to provide multiple demo via Chat session on different background and on Multiple surface i.e. Hat, Coffee mug, Letter heads, Signboards, etc. At the time of delivery, ask for multiple color option delivery i.e. black, white, grey, blue, etc. etc. All the best and hope you will get the #BestProfessional and good experience on this platform. #BestWishes for your #GreatSuccess.

The logo can have any alteration you want. I kept the colors that you suggested: black, white and grey.

The work is 100% original. I have left files to prove it (sketch and outline)

What you described, the wishes for graphic elements, simply cannot work. The first thing they teach you in college when you start the logo designing college: Logo should be memorable, not a business indicator or storyteller. Keep it simple.

I'm sorry to write that, because your prize in the competition is an indication that you value effort and knowledge. But looking at your requirements, a logo made "by the book" has no chance of winning the competition. So I probably won't bother trying to make anything.

My suggestion, look at the "big boys", Apple, Amazon, IBM, Toyota, VW... How complicated they are? Justo couple of them, very old companies, have complicated logotypes. Does Apple have anything to do with apples? ;)

  Pablo, You can call it poor, but it is a fact. Logo designing is not the same as illustrating, just as illustrating is not designing a logo. 90% of submitted "logos" will fall the first test, they can't be scaled down, and the reason is, they are illustrations. I remember what my teacher before 30 years said: Let your friends see the logo concept you made. If most of them can't redraw the logo in 30 seconds 2 hours after looking at it using a few strokes, throw that idea in the trash.
  
  I've done myself several (well, more than several) of such logotypes/illustrations in my early days, and I knowed they are bad. But I was forced to do it so, the clients requested it so, and I needed to pay my bills. Luckily, now I am in the position that I cal allow me to say what I think.
  
  P.S.
  Look the logotypes from Hitachi, Volvo, DeWalt, Caterpillar, Makita, Milwaukee... and then look the logo evolving process thru years

  There are logos that are more "illustration" than logos, times change. Haven't you seen video game logos for example?
  
  What your old teacher said is very interesting, but to do something that others can do in 30s, it's better that they do it then.
  
  I like challenges and what this client asked for, it's great! it was fun and somewhat complex. The proof that it was not easy, you have it here, you can see that it has been filled with people who have no idea what has been requested.
