Will I get this as a vector graphics file? I don't know if I love the colors yet. Maybe fewer colors would be better.

Yes of course! it's a full vector file. You would get all the color variations in png as well as ai. Just tell me which colors would you prefer, and ill get on it (I will also add more variation of colors which I can link you here - ill upload on imgur)
