I am in need of a design for a back-lit display sign that will be on top of a glass front display fridge.
My company Oak and Spore sells ready-to-fruit mushroom grow kits. These kits will be kept in a glass display fridge, and in turn placed in garden centers around New Zealand.

I am looking for a sign which contains the following
1. The display sign needs to have a design that suits the grow kit boxes being sold inside the fridge.
2. Needs to have the Oak and Spore branding on it
3. Needs to tell people that the fridge contains products that allow people to grow their own mushrooms
4. people need to be able to see what a grow kit looks like when the mushrooms are growing out the side. Either by a direct image of it, or some other creative method.
5. Has some attractive design flair
6. It needs to grab people's attention and help convince them to make a purchase.
7. Color scheme in line with current box designs.
8. There is an instruction strip that will feature on the glass door. This will remain, as it is the same instruction panel from the size of the box. If you feel this instruction will be better somewhere else. please feel free to be creative.
9. Needs to be an illustrator or photoshop file that can be printed from a sign writer.

The designer who designed out boxes put together a basic draft of the fridge which contains the instructions on the glass. We will keep these instructions on the glass, we are simply looking for the back-lit sign at the top to be completed. (my designer has moved to another country, so it too busy right now)

If you feel you can do a complete redesign of the fridge, please go ahead. Our main priority is the back-lit display at the top, followed by the rest of the fridge.

2. technical specs of the fridge
3. our logo
4. photos of our grow kits with mushrooms growing out of them
5. the image featured on our grow boxes (hand-drawn oyster mushrooms)
6. The instructions that will feature down the front of the fridge.

Please note - These kits do not grow traditional button mushrooms, they grow oyster mushrooms. Oyster mushrooms look very different from traditional mushrooms, so please keep this in mind.

We worked together with his prize entry to improve a few things, and the end result was great. He was fast at communicating and making changes, and we had the whole process completed in a couple days. The only small barrier was that English wasn't his first language, but his English skills were good to achieve the results intended, they just needed to be proof read for grammatical errors unique to the English language.
