Aside from having a PC and reliable internet connection on this island in the middle of the Pacific where I am currently based, I have over the years developed the skill and knowledge to become a well respected and hard working court reporter. I have eagle eyes to pick up even the smallest typo and grammatical errors; "understanding ears" to make out even the most difficult of accents and poor quality audio; speedy fingers that love to dance on the keyboard, impeccable research skills; and most importantly the integrity to deliver quality service. I take pride in my work and that for me is the difference between just "being a transcriber" and being a valuable asset to the working world. I deal daily with courtroom transcription so I am exposed to all sorts of information - not only legal but medical, land claims, you name it! You will not be disappointed! I am reliable, efficient and trustworthy.
I graduated with Bachelor of Arts (Anthropology) & Graduate Diploma in Theology from the University of Auckland; and am still sharpening and acquiring new skills through various employment positions - straight out of high school at a fast food restaurant, to call centre work, working as a research assistant for a Senior Lecturer at Otago University and as a Information Commons Consultant under the Library Learning Services for 6 years at the University of Auckland.
Currently living my "reverse migration" chapter in Samoa, this journey has indeed been a blessing, living the simple life - and due to having spare time on hand, I decided to dib into the world of freelancing. As the younger generation would say these days, "I am living my best life" here in the tropics.
