I'm a California-based freelance Unix-based PHP/MySQL programmer with fifteen years of professional experience, and I'm always on the lookout for small projects to work on. I usually can address things quickly as I paw through my treasure trove of working code snippets.
For those of you wondering about the handful of negative reviews, those were earned when I had a stroke a little while back. Not an excuse; just an unfortunate reality. Hopefully, you can discount those and do the math.
I have some regular clients but they still leave me with lots of free time that I would like to fill up with other projects. I used to program a lot with Microsoft technologies like ASP or ASPX -- now it's only 30% of my business.
My favorite type of projects involve creating custom admin interfaces, forms, content-management systems, galleries, scripts using fpdf.
In addition to PHP/MySQL coding I can easily handle the HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and XML portions of the projects. I'm also interested in coding just separate functions/features for other programmers.
My hourly rate starts at $25/hour -- base rate for work from scratch on big projects, $40/hour for small projects. Per-project arrangements are possible, too.
I work pretty fast and I pick up new things quickly so, provided with the full specs and all the necessary templates, I can complete any project I accept in a maximum of two weeks. The finished scripts are being uploaded to my demo server daily so the client can test the various features as they're appearing.
I accept payments via Freelancer.com and PayPal. Payment is expected after the project has been completed and tested on my demo server. The full package is made available to the client after payment has been confirmed.
