Ever since I was a kid, I had a passion for computers. During my Elementary school I started to learn more about computers, and I decided to go to Technical school so i can gain better knowledge and some practical experience. That was the first time I come in contact with Linux, and it got me hooked immediately. After I graduated from High school, I went to University of Technical Science, and I drop out after first year, because it wasn't what I was looking for. After some time spent working as a service technician in local computer shop, I realized I want to learn more about programming and how computer actually works. That's when I started to engage in various online courses. First course I took was introduction to programming using Java. Although it was a bit confusing at first, I found out that programming have right amount of challenge and creativity I was always looking for. It keeps you focused at all time. After I learned basics in Java, I decided to learn some more programming languages, like Python and C, and I was interested in Computer Science, so I took courses about programming paradigms and algorithms. During that time, I found that Unix has some really significant features for developers, and that got me interested in Linux even more, so I started to learn about Linux fundamentals and more advanced features. Thanks to the grate courses from Stanford, Harvard, MIT, and many other Universities and organizations I got enough experience and certifications to get my first job. I worked for about a year as iOS developer, and I realize that that was not direction in which I want to go. After that realization, I decided to find a job in IT field which always fascinated me the most, Linux! I landed a job as Linux System Administrator, but since I got to junior position due to my lack of "professional experience", I often found tasks at hand to be not challenging enough for my further growth, so I decide to leave this company and start working on my own project. After a long year of hard work and a lot of challenges, I can proudly say that my project is done, you can find all info in my portfolio. I'm well aware it doesn't bring much to the table in terms of productivity, but idea behind it was to gain better project management skills, and improve my existing coding skills in the process, in the most interesting and creative way possible. And here I am now, trying to do what I've always wanted, and get engaged in some cool projects and take my skills to another level. Hope you'll help me in my journey.
