As a first time employer on Rent-A-Coder, I was fortunate to find an excellent engineer in Sammer and IQ Webs. My first sign that I had someone who was detailed oriented was that he actually read our requirements, and then restated the requirements. I also liked the fact that he told me that if he misunderstood, I should *not* accept his bid. IQ Webs also provided an up to date client list. This was nice since I did check the Resume/CV of the prospective worker. I was amazed at how many claimed defunct websites and clients!!! We had a slow start - it took one day for both of us to synch communications. This was expected since there was a 10 hour time difference between us. Once we synch'd, IQ Webs completed the project in about two days, which was about two days early (by working through the weekend). The completion time was consistent with our estimate of the project. Note that other bidders attempted to claim the project would take a week to 10 days, and cost 3-4 times as much. Since HTML/Checkout Integration is IQ Webs' area of expertise (and not mine), the company was ready for all my misconceptions and questions. As I would email Sameer with questions and small changes, IQ Webs would simply 'go with the flow' by working around my [incorrect] assumptions and requirements. I not only recommend Sameer and IQ Webs, I will contact him in the future for all my work. If my startup is fortunate enough, IQ Webs will provide all my web work - from database to ecommerce.
