Financial Planning & Analysis Aug’13 to Feb’14. During this time I have worked on the following:  Cash Flow Forecasting; prepared rolling cash flow forecasts every month for the financial year.  Compared performance of the company in the forecast vs. actual performance.  The Cash Flow forecasting helped determine a requirement for external funding from Group companies outside India, hence avoiding and cash flow issues.  Performed Economic Analysis of lead indicators related to the electronics business and started competitor benchmarking to assess performance of the company  Created reports for a Cost Reduction Exercise to reduce unwarranted expenditure mostly surrounding Travel, this led to a $50,000 savings out of travel costs. SAP Implementation and Plant Controllership Feb’14 to Present. During this time I have worked on the following:  I was the lead implementer for Finance and Costing Modules for a newly acquired business.  The implementation was from Oracle to SAP  One of the challenges was understanding the difference in the Costing process between both systems during data takeover.  The project timeliness were tight, 3 months was the target, which he had achieved between April to June 2014.  I was responsible for meeting Project Implementation Test (PIT) timelines both pre and post implementation, along with coordinating between cross functional teams, as Finance is an all pervasive business area.  For my efforts, I have been awarded the prestigious, Star of the Quarter award for Q3. A quarterly award where a handful of individuals are recognized across the company for their exemplary efforts.  Further, I have moved into the challenging role of Plant Controllership, where I am responsible for tracking the financial performance of the newly acquired business, which had two plants based in Mumbai.
