I am a design draughtsman with several years experience primarily in the oil and gas sector. My time in industry involved both designing and draughting within the various engineering teams with a focus on downhole tools and equipment. I mainly work with AutoDesk Inventor but have used other softwares in the past including SolidWorks, ProEngineer and AutoCAD. I am highly competent in the use of CAD software and have a wealth of draughting knowledge including industry level procedures and protocols. Currently I work full time as a Design & Technology teacher in the North East of Scotland focussing on CAD and Graphic design, Engineering Science, Design & Manufacture and also practical wood and metalwork. I was hired by a former colleague to design the brand and logo for her new buisness venture. Being from South Africa, she wanted to encorporate that as well as pay tribute to Scotland for all that she has achieved while living and working here. The end result was a South African tribe (Nbele) inspired Saltire with rich blues which connected the two cultures seamlessly and created an eye catching logo in the process.
