I bring a wealth of academic research experience, having worked closely with both industry and healthcare sectors, particularly in clinical and public health fields. My passion lies in the art of data wrangling - from tidying up messy datasets to crafting insightful visualizations and interactive tools, as well as crafting predictive models. Alongside my research journey, I've also had the pleasure of sharing my knowledge at various levels, from inspiring primary school children to mentoring undergraduate sport science students and assisting PhD candidates with their data challenges.
In addition to my academic endeavours, I've been deeply involved in projects within public health and social care, handling very large datasets and performing tasks like data refining, integration, and analysis. My career path has been shaped by multiple collaborations across different disciplines, engaging with diverse stakeholders from academia, healthcare, and industry. Notably, my academic journey culminated in the attainment of a PhD in Measurement and Information in Medicine.
