Worked as subcontract on E-470 Public Highway Authority Projects. Projects included working with another contracting firm to update the public website and internal applications. Updated SharePoint Web Parts to work with new Web Methods, which makes up a public website (www.expresstoll.com). Project Lead for new internal application utilizing ASP.NET MVC 5 which allowed E-470 Management and partner companies to access real-time data of all tolling plazas. Project lead for new IVR Wrapper project that used a single web method being called by custom IVR Application to access customer data. Introduced team to Entity Framework (EF) and Repository Modeling. Updated Stored Procedures in Microsoft SQL Servers. Maintained version control using Visual Source Safe (VSS) 6 and Team Foundation Server (TFS). Participated in daily scrum meetings and agile process. Created Technical documents for all projects involved in. Participated in discovery meetings to make suggestions on newer technology available.

Worked as part of a development team, working in tandem with two other teams. Contributed to a single application (www.10-4.com) which was made up of multiple modules. Teams were run under full Agile development methodology with most sprints being two weeks. Participated in sprint planning meetings, daily standups, closing sprint demos, and retrospective meetings. 75% of my time was spent on User Stories, which consisted of minor User Interface Changes to adding completely new features including all aspects (UI, Middle Tier, and Backend). Frontend consisted of ASP.NET MVC 5 (Razor), TypeScript, Knockout, MomentJS, and other Javascript-based controls. Middle Tier was a custom API and C# for server side code. Backend utilized MS SQL Server with Stored Procedures and User Defined Functions. All code, including SQL was under SVN Source Control. 20% of my time was spent on Defects. Remaining 5% of my time was spent researching and testing the application.

Built internal tools for support. Primarily coded in C#, for Windows Forms, Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), and ASP.NET based applications. Used Entity Framework (EF 4 +) and LINQ for most, if not all, database related items. Utilized Model-View-ViewModel (MVVM) technicians for WPF based applications. Used N-Unit to do unit testing on many projects. Worked closely with QA Department to track and correct bugs. Used Microsoft Visual Studio 2010, Microsoft Expressions, and LINQPad heavily for the development of all applications. Assisted with the development of MS SQL Server Databases for internal as well as public applications. Provided 3rd level support for internal tools and public application. Developed applications for doing ‘extract, transform, load’ (ETL) of external data as well as user management for the public application.
