I have been working on websites since 1994. For 20 years I ran a successful online website business. Started as a developer using Drupal and have since moved to WordPress. Am comfortable with many online technical modalities and am conversant with many computer programs. I am deeply knowledgible about the Mac operating system and can troubleshoot most problems. I am in the process of finishing my first WordPress theme which will be made freely available on the web site. I am meticulous in my work and have never had a dissatisfied client My moto is that if you don't like the work I have done when I am finsihed and I can't fix it to your satisfaction, you are not charged for the project.

ANIÁN ENERGY - Modern clean website

Karin is an artist from Germany. She wanted a simple themed website that would highlight her art instead of the website. We created that by using the WordPress content management system and using a theme based on the SoSimple implementation. It includes pages dedicated to artwork based on various themes. This artwork can be viewed as a slide show on each individual page. There is a page dedicated to listing all her exhibitions and another to her training as an artist. There is also a contact page and a blog. The site can be displayed in german and english. The full site can be viewed here:

We had a Ginger Beer tasting a my place one night and I decided to document it on a web page. This one page site was created by hand using css & html. I used a containter to seperate the background from the content area, giving the content area rounded corners and a drop shadow. You can view the full site here:

Personal 5 Hour Website

The Hillsdale Farmer’s Market website was created in Feb/March of 2017. The goal was to create a new website using the WordPress content management system for a local business. For the market, we chose the Lycka lite theme because of its clean and friendly responsive design that works well both on mobile devices and desktop machines. The background images of pumpkins can be changed according to the season. The site has a slide show on the front page. Every page has rotating customer testimonials. There is an interactive Google map in the sidebar. Also in the sidebar are social media icons allowing visitors to interact with the Market’s social media presence. The site has a blog for market vendors to communicate with customers. Excerpts of the blog posts show up in the sidebar. View full site here:

Hillsdale Farmer's Market (Friendly Artisan website)

The Heart-Bound Books website was developed in January, 2017 for bookbinding artist Lisa Baumgartner. It is a site based on the popular WordPress content management system utilizing the Snaps Theme. It has pages displaying the artist's different binding techniques , including a slide show of the artists works, pages dedicated to a traditional binding studio and the artist's own workspace, a contact page and a blog for the artist. Heart Bound Books (Artisan website example)

The Portland Historical Tours project was, to create a website for this fictional company that was both professional and geared to the clients business needs. What we ended up putting together was a website built entirely from scratch that was a one page website loaded with features. Why a one page website? The business was a small business so it did not need a sprawling presence on the web and because most visitors want the information they are after to be quick and easy to access. The level of drop off after the initial frontpage contact, for most sites, with first time visitors, is huge. For repeat customers they want to get in and out as efficiently as possible. What better way to provide that than with a single page … if you can do so? The less clicking the better. You can find the full site here
