Marching out of NTU with a Sociology major, Rachel continues to write current affairs commentaries, especially in the areas of society, culture and the environment. Life led her to explore the tech industry, where she’s excited to get Singapore comfortable with online-to-offline interactions. She’s quite a small person with a truly big heart: Her soft-spoken pets (Chinchilla and Schnauzer) would whisper about her devotion to martial arts and her inner geek with the latest IT gadgets. Rachel had the privilege of being a founding member of former NMP Viswa Sadasivan’s socio-political website, Inconvenient Questions (IQ). Some of her best work she’s done includes her commentary on the Destitute Person’s Act and the research notes regarding former Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew's policies spanning 50 years. Since then, she had the opportunity to establish herself as a creative consultant and app development project manager. She’s worked with clients from the SAF for Digital Innovation Day, creating the Army Heat Acclimatisation App.
