From environmental activist to Opera Singer to mother, teacher, and disability survivor, my life has been a colorful array of ever-changing experiences. Yet with each new challenge I've undertaken there has always been one unifying element: writing! Whether working as an activist, constantly rewriting my "rap" or as an opera singer and teacher working at a nonprofit, one of the many hats I wore was as a writer. I have assisted with grant proposals, publicity blurbs, newspaper announcements, fundraiser and donor letters, advertising emails and performance reviews, in the past. More recently, I began blogging, mostly political posts, the presidential primary a particular focus of mine. Now I work as a freelance writer for different online companies writing web content, product reviews, how-to’s, op-eds, medical, music, political, health and travel blogs, (to name a few). I'm also a fast, detailed researcher/editor, eager to put my skills to use and gain some new ones along the way!
