Face Recognition Engine
The idea of the application is to make clicking pictures by iPhone a fun & exciting task. This app utilizes face detection technology to choose and place a hysterical caption for each person in a picture automatically. After a picture is taken additional captions can be added before saving. Once placed, the captions can be switched or moved if you don't like the caption or placement. This app’s face recognition technology can detect single or multiple faces in real time. This app was designed and developed for a company that addresses entertainment and gaming market space. When they approached Synapse they had a wireframe of their concept along with high-level requirements. One of the key requirements was to improve face detection algorithm and insert caption on faces automatically and real-time while clicking a snap. Along with that it was important for the captions to point in the correct direction.
