How to Verify Your Payment Method

On, employers and freelancers can easily tap and join the global workforce from anywhere.

It is, therefore, a step forward to have a verified payment method on your account. For employers, this encourages prospective freelancers to complete projects in no time at all because they will be assured that their employers are willing to pay for the work to be done. Freelancers, on the other hand, will find this useful when paying for fees incurred on the site.

Verifying your payment method sets up the billing agreement, which takes care of all your fees and payments. Simply put, you no longer have to trouble yourself with money matters as funds will automatically be taken from your verified payment method to cover any fees or payments if you have no available or insufficient balance on your account.

To verify your payment source, follow these steps:

1. On your Dashboard, hover over your balance and select Verify Payment Method.

2. On the Verify Payment Method page, select your preferred payment source.

3. Enter the necessary information on the required fields. Confirm that all information is correct.

Add Skrill Account

All of the available payment methods have their unique advantages. It is advisable to choose one that you can readily access. For example, if you already have a Skrill or PayPal account, it will be easiest to input those accounts’ details. If you choose PayPal but you don’t have a PayPal account yet, you will be asked to create one.

You can also verify your payment method by making a deposit. If you made a deposit before, you’re already payment verified. There’s no need to do it again. If you wish to authenticate your credit card, however, just read How to Authenticate Your Credit Card.
