I am looking for a different way of writing a JavaScript which would not affect other session.
Currently in order to log out completely from a web application using WebSphere I need to clear catch upon logout but it only works in IE and it affects other
web sessions that are open by disconnecting them. I would need a different way which would affect only this session. Maybe erase the cookie or something
but I don't know the name of the cookie that is being created or maybe another way that would work.
Current code looks like :
function clearBrowserAuthenticationCache() {
var pathArray = "https://" + [login to view URL] +"/[login to view URL]"
if ([login to view URL] == 'Microsoft Internet Explorer')
{
[login to view URL]('ClearAuthenticationCache');
}
else {
var dummyXmlhttp = createXMLObject();
[login to view URL]('GET', '[login to view URL]', true, 'logout', 'logout');
[login to view URL](null);
[login to view URL]();
}
}
function createXMLObject() {
try {
if ([login to view URL]) {
xmlhttp = new XMLHttpRequest();
}
else if ([login to view URL]) {
xmlhttp = new ActiveXObject("[login to view URL]");
}
} catch (e) {
xmlhttp = false
}
return xmlhttp;
}

Please discuss before awarding the project.
Hi.
I would like to check out your system and see if deleting a cookie would help solve your issue. I can do the diagnostic on my end and would also be able to write the cookie deletion javascript code.
What I need is an URL where I could start. Would also need some test login I guess.
Kind regards
