Hi there,
I am a 3D modeller and animator with a background in neuroscience. I have studied digital animation arts at a respected college, and I have an undergraduate degree in neuroscience from Dalhousie University. I am currently working for a company designing educational science games for students. I also spent 2 years employed as a home care worker for a man with spinal cord injury (quadriplegic) and 1 year with a woman with ALS. I have been doing freelance work in the medical visualization industry for 6 months, working for a variety of clients. Projects I have worked on include a 3 minute animation of ACL surgery, various animations of dental implants, cross section models of skin conditions, and an animation of neural firing, to name of few. You can see stills from some of my previous work on my profile page.
I am very interested in working with you on this project. I think that, with my experience and background, I can provide you with a product that both of us can be proud of. I am interested in building a portfolio which includes extraordinary work, with references from clients who have been impressed by both my skill and my professionalism. I work in a game studio part time and I freelance part time from my at-home office, and I am proficient in Maya, 3ds Max, Mudbox, After Effects and Photoshop, all of which I use in a pipeline to produce beautiful work.
Please let me know if you are interested.
Thank you for your time and consideration,
Jennica Lounsbur
