Freelance Illustrator required We need a ‘Cartoon Style’ Illustrator to develop a mascot Hi there, We are looking to develop a Mascot for our business, which is called GoldenGreen - see our logo below: We have provided information on our business below, but we have chosen to develop a character called ‘KoalaGreen’ - an environmentally friendly Koala (an Australian native animal) - who will appear in our advertising and promotion. We will also develop a life-sized costume for ‘KoalaGreen’ who will appear at our stores. KoalaGreen will be active at our stores promoting the importance of being ‘Green’ and also visit local schools promoting the importance of sustainability and the environments. About our business GoldenGreen helps you make money and save the environment at the same time. We have around 25 Franchised kiosks located in busy shopping centres, where we buy people’s unwanted gold jewellery. We also offer introductions to a range of environmentally friendly companies such as telephone services and energy companies, where people can save even more money off their everyday bills. People find us when they sell their unwanted jewellery so that it doesn’t go to waste. To make sure they are getting the best bang for their buck, we also help them make big savings on everyday bills. We help put a big smile on people’s faces for all the right reasons. These days, most people are conscious of their budget. They want to buy themselves or their family a treat and want to ensure they are making every cent count. On top of this, they are worried absolute the environment and where the world is going to end up. Golden Green solves these problems by providing a safe, easy way to sell unwanted jewellery and convert it to cash. We also offer access to a range of everyday services that people are sick of paying too much for. By connecting with environmentally-aware providers, we help them save money and the environment! People walk away feeling invigorated and engaged in the future. They are secure in the knowledge that they have been able to look after their budget and make a difference in the world at the same time. At GoldenGreen, we believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to have some extra spending money and the right to a safe and secure future. What we need from you We need someone to design KoalaGreen and bring him to life. We will need full illustrations of Koala Green to use in advertising, promotion and online. We are looking for someone who has a track record in developing similar characters at a fair price. We are not looking for the cheapest price - we want someone who can do the job really well and ensure we get a great result. If you are successful, it is likely that we will be asking you to do development work on the character once KoalaGreen is established. We are a rapidly growing company and are looking for someone who really knows their stuff to help us. You need to be able to come up with the creative concept but then do there fine detail of drawing the character and making them feel engaging and ‘alive’.
