Need a 15-30 second animation following animation work done using our 3ds model. ## Deliverables Rent A Coder requirements notice: As originally posted, this bid request does not have complete details. Should a dispute arise and this project go into arbitration "as is", the contract's vagueness might cause it to be interpreted against you, even though you were acting in good-faith. So for your protection, if you are interested in this project, please work-out and document the requirements onsite. * * *This broadcast message was sent to all bidders on Tuesday Nov 10, 2009 11:05:29 PM: The animation we are looking for involves using several of the .obj models that I can send to you. We also have a rough storyboard that describes what the animation should look like. The animator will correspond with our doctor via e-mail to ensure that animation is medically correct. This process could take several iterations and would require the animator to post or email the animation to the doctor for feedback. If we like your work we would also be looking for you to perform several more. If you are interested I can send you the storyboard, .obj files. After reviewing the .obj files and storyboard, and a sample of your work using our models we will then decide on accepting you as our animator. * * *This broadcast message was sent to all bidders on Friday Nov 13, 2009 1:22:28 PM: The following storyboard could be difficult to understand, but try to produce a rough animation for a few seconds doing something with skeletal & muscular system. If your work is good then there are ten more animations to do. If you need some sample images to help illustrate let me know. See bottom for link to models Storyboard hiplash ----------------- Start with head and neck view from side. Pan to back view as skin is faded out to see muscles Continue to fade to show ligaments of skull and spine then fade out ligaments. Zoom into show disc and nerves at two or three vertebral levels. From back view fade in ligaments (white/gray color) around spine (i.e. interspinous, supraspinous, and intertrasverse). Continue to rotate to side view and show ALL ligament fade in. The ligaments should have thin lines that run its length so that it looks like a collection of fibers. We can show an extension type injury, as in a whiplash accident. Show tear of anterior longitudinal ligament and possibly posterior ligaments (interspinous and supraspinous) and swelling. The tear should show a disruption of the fibers in the ligament. We don't want to show a complete tear of the ligament. It should appear frayed. At this point we could show the muscles of the neck fading in. I think this would look cool and would show the layers of injury (superficial muscles and deep ligaments). The ligaments are where we will show the repair part later in the animation though. We do talk about muscles as part of the soft tissues and it is also a major part that is injured during a whiplash accident. Major muscles to fade in would be suboccipitals, rectus, SCM, scalenes. They should be a dark red/maroon in color. We can show an extension type injury, as in a whiplash accident, where the muscle, SCM, first tear on extension. Show inflammation as swelling of muscle around tear and possibly a slight red pulsation (pain). If it is hard to visualize the muscles being damaged we may have to show another flex/extension movement after muscles are faded back in. Show the vertebra misaligning creating irritation to the spinal nerve root. Changing nerve signal from green to red. Then vertebrae being corrected and reducing irritation to nerve root and impulse changing from red back to green. This project will be challenging due to the communication barriers and lack of medical expertise, however it could be lucrative for the company or idividual that can make it happen.
