Even though i'm not from NORTH AMERICA but i've done lead generation from same kind of niche. it was HR software but the project was a great success. i've used LinkedIn and my own software to contact targeted people from targeted area, sent them automated connection request with messages and when they accepts i've sent them a series of followup messages to convince them. it worked great and so many people booked the DEMO for that software. i can do the same for you. please let me know if you're interested. thank you
