We are starting a web services operation.
Our initial customer base is going to be 1000. We need to provide each one 25MB space and approximately 50MB bandwidth.
We will then expect to increase this by around 2000 customers every month (50GB).
I am looking for some one who can be my consultant for the next one month. In this week, we two will need to plan in detail how we will set up the initial servers and then how I must plan future growth. Based on your advise, I will buy the servers from the data centers.
If you are interested and if price appeals to me, you can be my system admin after that point on a freelance basis. But, that is not a must and will not influence my decision for this project.
I am looking for some one who will provide me this planning and work for the next one month. You can assume that work will be intense for the next 4-5 days (1 hour of communication) and probably 2 to 3 hours of drawing board work per day.
Then, you need not spend any more than one or two hours a day (15 minutes communication).
Yahoo or MSN chat is a must. I will really prefer candidates who managed large servers and data before.
Note: I am setting the price at 100-500. But, if you are exceptional, that is no barrier. I will change the price and rebid again.
