ABT Marketing is looking to hire five experienced dispatchers to work with one of our clients. Responsibilities - Receive emergency and non-emergency calls and record significant information - Address problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions - Receive and dispatch orders for products or deliveries - Prioritize calls according to urgency and importance - Use radio, phone or computer to send trucks to appropriate locations - Monitor the route and status of trucks to coordinate and prioritize their schedule - Provide trucks with information about orders, traffic, obstacles, and requirements - Enter data in computer systems and maintain logs and records of calls, activities and other information Requirements - Proven experience as dispatcher or relevant position - Tech-savvy with knowledge of relevant methods - Fast typing with experience in data entry - Knowledge of procedures and guideline for emergency situations - Proficient in English and Spanish (oral and written) - Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities - Active listener with excellent communication skills - Sound judgement and critical thinking Work hours - The two shifts we're looking to fill at this time are 5 AM - 1 PM EST (4 openings) and 1 PM - 9 PM EST (1 opening), Monday - Friday. - Occasional Saturday work is available, but it's optional - Major US holidays (Christmas, Independence Day) will be days off, subject to the schedule for the building sites Payment rate - Pay rate is dependent on the applicant's experience - Since the workload will be the same each month, please quote a monthly price - You will be hired as a contractor, and you will be responsible for handling your own taxes. Price your proposal accordingly - Please make sure that the price you give is final and includes the Freelancer fees

Hi, my name is Norma and I'm from Mexico. I believe I am well suited for this position as I have worked with calls for over seven years in Spanish and English. My latest position before becoming a freelancer was at Scotiabank S.A de C.V in Mexico (a little over 5 years), however I took care of Canadian calls and sometimes served as translator. My last position was consultant for any topic related to the customer such as escalations and de-escalating, technical issues, system inquiries, training, privacy and security, team leader and supervisor stand in, monitoring calls and coaching. As a financial advisor for a multitude of customer I was able to keep track of the situation of each and every one of them as well as making sure all the information stayed safe. In case of possible or confirmed compromise I was able to dispatch emergency orders to retract accounts, cards from being delivered, etc. I might be new to the website, however I can email my letter of recommendation from Scotiabank, as well as proof of studies (Bachelor in Education completed and Bachelor of business administration in progress from the UNAM). I am interested on the 1pm to 9pm shift as I go to college in the mornings, Saturdays or even Sundays aren't a problem.
