I am looking for someone to create a small MS access database application for my business. Instead of MS access, i would prefer something that could eventually be migrated online (like to [login to view URL]) that is not too expensive and where i could let s a few users access it but i need custom reporting and easy application functionality, like MS Access.
Here is my project:
- i have customer data that i would like to maintain in a database. I will provide a spreadsheet.
- I also have records that map to the customer data for people that work on customer projects.
- I need to be able to run reports against the data
- i also need some data entry forms for new customers and new employees and new projects.
- i would require a 1-2 hour phone call up front so that i could describe the data relationships. I have several spreadsheets that house most of the data so little data entry is necessary.
- I would estimate that if you know what you are doing, you could do this project in less than 8 hours, however, we will probably need several conversations to discuss details and i will surely engage for add on enhancements over time. I would really like to migrate it to the web but i dont want the expense and hassle of a full web site development project, plus, i would like to be able to do reporting and data adjustments myself, as i know how to use tools like MS access. I just haven't worked with it in a while and I would have a lot of ramp up time.
I will need the following data entry/database:
- Create a new client
- Create a new installer
- Assign installers to customers, with pay
- Add communities to a client
- Add or subtract signs from a community for a client
- Allow installers to enter losses for a week period
I will need the following REPORTS:
- Master List: For any date and see the number of signs being placed at that time.
- Installer Report: For any 2 week period, see how many signs an installer is placing
- Builder Change report: For any 2 week period, show the invoicing changes for the week
- Total billing Report: For any 2 week period, report the number of signs and total billing by week
- Commission Report: Run a territory manager commission report that shows 15% of area commissions
- Loss report: List of losses by installer for the week
