Director of North American Sales
Overview
You are able to demonstrate with specific examples that you have sales/business development expertise that includes calling on the 'C' suite and senior product development/technology executives in a role that has involved selling solution-based product development services, integration services, and must include selling offshore application development services as part of the solution.
You have a broad background in, and understanding of, multiple industries which allows you to engage senior executives at the strategic level. While you have a strong technical background, it's your big picture approach that has won you the largest deals. You have an engaging style that allows people to open up to you as a person and not as a sales rep.
In your mind, you see a quota of $1.5 million in software development services as a slam dunk.
You will have mastered the following day-to-day activities:
Managing the complete sales cycle of an opportunity and working with team members and/or business partners to develop, propose, and close new business opportunities;
Working with, and developing, prospects in multiple time zones;
Establishing a significant, quality, and predictable, reliable pipeline;
Engaging appropriate internal resources to develop technical requirements and solutions;
Ensuring a fully documented handoff to the appropriate service delivery resources;
Documenting all activities and scheduling all events in Salesforce and/or other time management systems;
Work within Bit Order guidelines to negotiate appropriate pricing, service level, and terms with customers;
Comply with Bit Order standards and policies related to documentation, reporting, travel, and related administrative activities.
Required Skills and Experience
Minimum 5 years selling outsourcing services into software companies at the c-level;
3+ years experience of selling through and managing partner channels;
Experience selling both Cloud and enterprise solutions;
Demonstrated skill in selling in matrixed environments;
Highly skilled at cold calling, having refined a successful personal approach;
You must be familiar with and understand the [login to view URL] marketing and development platform;
Deep understanding of the Salesforce sales model;
Having worked for or sold into the Salesforce ISV community is a major plus;
Deep knowledge of the benefits of outsourcing and staff augmentation;
Demonstrated understanding of our industry, customer needs, and competitive landscape;
Having worked with development teams previously is a plus;
