We are tax advisors and are planning to build a tax tool to support clients in their reconciliation process. The details of the plant project is as under:
1. The tax tool would involved taking couple of excel files with data as input (filled in specified formats provided), modifying the data with addition, deletion, changes to the columns etc., running the reconciliation program on it and delivering the reconciled data/excel file with observations, remarks, pivot table etc.
2. We are planning for the back-end programing to be on Python.
3. The front-end to be provided to the clients on a webpage where the input data files will be uploaded in specific formats. The program will check the files for meeting the requirements, process the files through Python and deliver the reconciled file back on the webpage for download by the clients.
[login to view URL] would also need the Python to contain fuzzy-merge/match functions for reconciliation.
5. We would also need a userid-password control for the client to login into the webpage

I will be happy to build your application and provide a high quality output. Lets discuss the requirements in more details . thanks and have a good day
Hello,
My preliminary understanding is the backend python has to parse the input files ( with specific format ) to get the data from all columns and then it needs to do the fuzzy matching & deduplication. But I have a few questions:
Q1: Do we need to show the analysis on the web page OR an excel will be downloaded along with all remarks & analysis ?
Q2: What will be the maximum size of a single file ( in terms of number of rows ). Fuzzy matching can be O(n^2) so there should be a cap on number of rows in order to provide result in reasonable amount of time ?
Can we discuss in detail ?

Thanks.
