Trading View Pine Script Requirement

We have a small pine (<100 lines) script that does some calculations and plots the results visually onto a 5 minute timescale chart (BTCUSD) in Trading View. This works fine, but we would like to modify this script to display same same plots, but based on data points from a higher time period selected from an option dropdown (e.g. 30 min / 60 min / 4 hour / 1 day).
We have the original version of the 5 minute script we can provide, plus a version I've been testing that definitely doesn't work but may be helpful to look at.
