Looking for an experience programmer with solid experience in JAVA coding and able to integrate the code with a broker API and eventually upload the script onto AWS server for full automation.
GOAL: The goal is to translate in Java a given trading algorithm that can sit on a AWS Amazon server and that can interface with a broker API.
The code has to be able to:
1) retrieve from the broker API, in real time, current stock prices for a large given number of stocks within a given investment universe at specified hours during the day
2) retrieve from the broker API, historical stock prices for a large number of stocks within a given investment universe at specified hours during the day and store these info within a small Database
3) perform some calculations with these real time and historical prices so to generate buy/sell signals. Save historical data within a database. Various Parameters for the trading rules will be given
4) Perform some other calculations taking into consideration real time and historical prices to come up with optimal portfolio weights for the stocks within the investment universe. Various Parameters for the portfolio weighting rules will be given
5) aggregate various buy/sell signals and portfolio weight signals for each stocks in the investment universe
6) execute these buy/sell signals and portfolio weight signals so that market orders or limit orders can get routed to specified stock exchanges and executed automatically at a given day
7) Upload all the above on Amazon Web Server for full automation
Strong coding experience in Java is essential. Similar projects in the past took roughly 4-5 hours to be accomplished by an experienced programmer.
If it can be helpful I can share some java code used in the past for similar projects so to have a starting base for the script to modify accordingly the specs needed for this project
