Small mod. of Virtuemart webshop

I have a website based on Joomla CMS with the webshop component Virtuemart. I presuppose you are familiar with this component in order to help me with this.

I need a small addition to the shopper registration form. In the administrator backend ([url removed, login to view]), there is a small dropdown form where administrator can choose what shopper group the registered customer should belong to. I want that choice to be available directly on the registration form for the client, so that client chooses from beginning what shopper group he/she should belong to.

So I guess I only need a small modification to the file [url removed, login to view], but I haven’t had time to look in to it.
